Cattitude was founded by Zəhra Üzeyirli on a random Thursday, somewhere between gloom and grumpiness, when I decided that if politics insists on being a circus — I might as well document it.

I’m a political journalist and translator based in Baku, Azerbaijan. I write about power, people, and everything the news cycle buries before you notice it’s gone.

Cattitude is a sharp-tongued political journal. A cat holding a pen. Published twice a week, free — because the people who need this most shouldn’t have to pay for it.

Cattitude has three claws:

💸 Money, Power, Glory — Politics, media, and power. Not the version they hand you. The version underneath it. From global hypocrisy to stories I’ve lived through — this is the sound that keeps them up at night.

🐾 Meow or Never — A virtual diary that goes deeper than comfort allows. Personal, political, sometimes poetic. Always honest. If I overthink it, I write it.

🎤 Cattitude on Tour — Where the interviews live. Your voice, your country, your culture. Everyone’s welcome. If you want to be interviewed, DM me.

You belong here if—

Not because the world is a mess. You already know that.

Because most people see the mess and look away. This is for the ones who can’t.

Nothing is random. Most people just don't see the pattern. Political analysis and cultural writing from a country the world keeps forgetting — until it can't.
